Africa Dahabiya

Africa has 8 cabins on a 39 meter vessel, 6 twin cabins and 2 suites. Each room is simply but comfortably decorated and boasts traditional features such as the beautiful blown glass lights and Egyptian cotton bed linen. Each cabin has its own en-suite shower facilities with soft fluffy towels and there is ample wardrobe space in each room. The 2 suite cabins are situated at the rear of the boat and have large panoramic windows which open out onto the river, ideal for those quiet moments when you just want to curl up on the comfy window seat and gaze at the beauty of the Nile and the wonderful landscapes. Both suites have king sized beds and storage space.

The main deck area is partially shaded where guests can sunbathe or just enjoy the ever changing view from the comfort of one of the soft furnished traditional Egyptian dickers. There are ample rattan chairs and deck chairs scattered around the deck for those passengers who like to soak up the sun and plenty of cushion strewn sofas for those who wish to relax with a book or enjoy a refreshing cup of Egyptian tea. Meals are generally served on deck where you can enjoy delicious Egyptian food, freshly prepared by our chef, whilst the Nile gently laps at the side of the boat.

The large salon spans the width of the boat and is situated on the lower deck. It is comfortably furnished with plenty of seating on all four sides. An ideal place to relax and catch up on the day events, On cooler evenings, when the night has a nip in the air, the evening meal can be served in the salon.
